This role is crucial in identifying and securing new business opportunities, engaging proactively with potential clients, and presenting tailored solutions that meet their needs. Maintain visibility of new business relationships and opportunities Find and develop new clients for Paymentology products Develop strategies for identifying and pursuing new business prospects Work closely with the Regional Director to target key markets and prospects Develop an annual sales pipeline with prospects and targets Accurately report on the sales pipeline on an ongoing basis Diagnose prospect needs and advise on appropriate product or service solutions Own the entire sales process from initial contact to contract signing Nurture and manage regional pipeline opportunities to achieve sales targets Manage complex commercial negotiations Collaborate with legal counsel and finance teams as needed Take responsibility for sales tasks including client contract signature Execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets Grow Paymentology’s customer base in the region
Requirements
5-7 years of business development experience in the fintech or payments space Experience in solution sales and managing complex sales processes Knowledge of the cards and payments industry, particularly issuing Detail-oriented with an ability to understand the complexities of the payments market Time management and multitasking skills across markets and time zones Self-starter able to define priorities and deliver results Ability to qualify leads and identify key decision-makers Ability to work effectively with senior-level internal and external stakeholders Strong commercial acumen and financial modelling skills Resilient mindset with the ability to work under pressure and focus on outcomes Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
