We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager based in Asia, with a strong background in selling embedded finance products, particularly in the FX space, to drive revenue growth and expand our footprint among enterprise clients, software platforms, AP/AR vendors, and other high-value partners.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Identify, target, and engage enterprise clients including software platforms, with a strong emphasis on PSP (payment service providers) customers. Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive adoption of Grain’s embedded finance and FX solutions in key markets.
Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers such as CFOs, Treasurers, and operational leaders. Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding client challenges and presenting tailored solutions that deliver measurable impact. Travel regularly to meet clients in person and attend relevant industry-related events, including fintech, SaaS, and platform economy conferences.
Sales Execution
Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting and pitching to negotiating and closing deals. Collaborate closely with product, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term client satisfaction.
Market Expertise
Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory developments impacting cross-border payments and FX. Provide market feedback to the product team to refine offerings and identify new opportunities.
Qualifications
Experience
Five or more years of B2B sales experience in fintech, embedded finance, payments, or FX solutions. Proven track record selling to enterprise clients, software platforms, and/or AP/AR vendors. Experience closing complex, high-value deals with C-level stakeholders.
Skills
Strong consultative sales abilities and the skill to simplify complex financial solutions. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proficiency in CRM tools such as Hubspot/Salesforce and sales analytics platforms.
