Role Overview We are seeking a proactive, persuasive, and results-driven Sales & Reservations Agent who can actively sell, generate direct bookings, and manage guest communications across multiple platforms. This role requires someone skilled in sales, digital marketing strategies, and online conversion, with the ability to compete effectively against third-party channels like Airbnb.
Key Responsibilities Direct Sales & Conversion Actively promote and sell our website, direct booking channels, and hospitality services. Convert inbound inquiries into confirmed reservations using persuasive communication and sales techniques. Implement digital strategies to improve direct booking conversion rates. Compete effectively with Airbnb and other OTAs by highlighting our unique value to potential guests. Reservations & Guest Management Manage direct booking inquiries via email, phone, chat, and social channels. Ensure all properties maintain high occupancy levels through continuous sales effort. Prevent booking cancellations, alterations, or penalties—especially related to RBnB’s policies and system workflows. Monitor existing reservations to ensure they remain confirmed and compliant with Airbnb/RBnB rules. Communicate professionally and persuasively with guests to resolve issues and secure bookings. Digital Strategy Support Assist in executing digital strategies aimed at driving website traffic and booking conversions. Collaborate with the team to optimize direct booking funnels and guest engagement strategies. Brand & Customer Experience Represent the brand with strong communication, professionalism, and sales-focused interaction. Support ongoing marketing efforts through persuasive messaging and guest engagement.
Qualifications & Experience Required Proven sales experience—preferably in hospitality, reservations, real estate, or similar industries. Experience in digital marketing strategies, online conversion techniques, and direct sales funnels. Ability to sell actively, not just manage reservations. Familiarity with Airbnb/RBnB systems, policies, and reservation management. Strong persuasive communication skills—the ability to “sell your position” in any guest situation. High level of initiative, confidence, and resilience in achieving sales targets. Strong written and spoken communication skills (Spanish is an advantage if needed). Preferred Experience in hotel reservations, property management, vacation rentals, or guest services. Knowledge of CRM or property management systems (PMS). Experience competing against OTAs for direct bookings. Ideal Candidate Profile Persuasive, confident communicator with a strong sales mentality. Results-driven and focused on achieving direct bookings and high occupancy. Strategic thinker with understanding of digital booking funnels and guest psychology. Adaptable, proactive, and capable of handling fast-paced, sales-focused environments.
