Salesforce Engineering Manager (Remote - South America)

In this role, you will lead a high-performing Salesforce engineering team to design, develop, and maintain mission-critical solutions for complex business workflows. You will oversee the technical architecture, ensure quality and scalability, and drive adoption of best practices across development, testing, and deployment. As a hands-on leader, you will collaborate closely with product owners, architects, and other engineering teams to align technical strategy with fast-paced business priorities. Accountabilities:

• Lead and manage a team of Salesforce developers, QA engineers, and administrators, providing coaching, guidance, and performance feedback.
• Define and enforce coding standards, development processes, and review practices to maintain high-quality deliverables.
• Drive the architecture, design, and implementation of Salesforce enhancements and integrations.
• Partner with product and technology leadership to prioritize work aligned with business objectives.
• Ensure system stability, data integrity, and scalability of critical workflows.
• Promote adoption of best practices in CI/CD, automated testing, and secure development.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with business, data, and platform teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

7+ years of Salesforce development and administration experience, including 2+ years leading or managing an engineering team.

• Strong knowledge of Salesforce data architecture for lending or financial workflows.
• Experience with multi-cloud Salesforce implementations (Sales, Service, Experience Cloud).
• Expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, Salesforce APIs, and SOQL.
• Proficiency with CI/CD, Git, Azure DevOps, and automated testing frameworks.
• Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills in a remote environment.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and high-volume, asynchronous transaction processing.
