    Job Description

Since 1998, Businessolver has delivered market-changing benefits technology and services supported by an intrinsic responsiveness to client needs. The company creates client programs that maximize benefits program investment, minimize risk exposure, and engage employees with easy-to-use solutions and communication tools to assist them in making wise and cost-efficient benefits selections. Founded by HR professionals, Businessolver's unwavering service-oriented culture and secure SaaS platform provide measurable success in its mission to provide complete client delight. As a Senior Financial Analyst (Corporate FP&A), you will turn data into decisions across our planning engine. Partnering with GTM Finance (bookings and pricing/mix), Finance Business Partners—Operations (capacity/throughput and unit cost), and Customer Success (retention/expansion), you will shape a single, trusted view for leadership. Your work sharpens forecast accuracy, shortens close-to-outlook cycle time, and elevates CFO/Board narratives with clear “so what / now what” insights. We’re looking for a systems-savvy analyst who blends rigorous modeling with crisp storytelling and disciplined data hygiene. If you enjoy building driver-based models, pressure-testing scenarios, and partnering cross-functionally to turn variance into action, we’d love to hear from you. The Gig You will build and maintain driver-based model modules for Plan , monthly rolling outlook, and scenario/sensitivity analyses that connect operating levers (pipeline, backlog throughput, hiring, unit cost) to revenue, gross margin, EBITDA, cash, and working capital. You will prepare monthly variance bridges (price/volume/mix/timing) and partner with Revenue Planning on ARR and revenue roll-forwards, ensuring outputs land cleanly in the integrated 3-statement model. You will develop and automate the standard report pack and executive dashboards in EPM/BI, aligned to the enterprise KPI dictionary and master-data policy governed by Corporate FP&A. You will consolidate inputs from GTM Finance, FBP Operations, RevOps into a single forecast; you will surface risks/opportunities and recommend actions with owners and dates. You will support long-range planning and capital allocation with scenario packs, liquidity views, and covenant/headroom tracking in coordination with the broader FP&A team. You will contribute to M&A by preparing diligence-ready schedules (ARR/NRR cohorts, revenue waterfalls, run-rate opex, unit economics) and assisting with pro-forma and purchase-accounting planning impacts in partnership with Accounting and Corporate Development. You will uphold data governance by stewarding KPI definitions and mapping tables (COA, cost centers, product tags, CRM stage definitions), reconciling CRM/EPM/ERP views, and running data-quality checks with EPM/Data teams. Responsibilities Forecasting & model ownership: Own assigned modules within the integrated 3-statement planning model (revenue/COGS/opex, headcount, working capital), maintain documentation/version control, and produce monthly outlooks with variance bridges and a clear R&O log. Management & financial reporting: Produce the standardized monthly management pack (P&L/BS/CF) with segment/product and cohort/ARR views; ensure tie-outs to the GL and to EPM/BI dashboards; deliver CFO/ELT-ready pages that translate results into “so what / now what” actions; support Board materials with consistent schedules and footnotes. Data governance & single source of truth: Steward KPI definitions and mapping tables under Corporate FP&A’s master-data policy; reconcile CRM/EPM/ERP views, run exception logs, and partner with EPM/Data on metadata, ETL validation, and audit trails. M&A support (pre-LOI through integration planning): Build pro-forma and scenario cases; prepare diligence-ready schedules; model planning impacts of purchase accounting with Accounting (e.g., amortization, revenue timing); establish Day-1/Day-100 KPI baselines and synergy-tracking dashboards. Revenue & ARR discipline: Collaborate with Revenue Planning on ARR roll-forwards and revenue bridges; ensure alignment to ASC 606 planning assumptions (SSP, variable consideration) while leaving policy to Accounting. Operational insight & dashboards: Build/automate self-serve dashboards (Power BI/Tableau) covering KPI trends (ARR/NRR/GRR, unit cost, utilization, backlog health, win rate/ASP/cycle as applicable); retire low-value reports to reduce cycle time. Scenario & liquidity views: Support long-range planning with scenario/sensitivity packs, working-capital/cash bridges, and covenant/headroom tracking. Controls & cadence: Uphold FP&A operating standards (close to forecast SLAs, version control, change logs) and ensure reporting and forecast artifacts are complete, consistent, and audit-ready. What you need to make the cut 5–8 years in FP&A/Strategic Finance within SaaS or tech-enabled services, including hands-on driver-based modeling and variance analysis. Fluency in ARR/retention math (GRR/NRR, cohorts) and an understanding of funnel math (stage conversion, velocity) is preferred. Familiarity with ASC 606 planning implications and how they affect revenue timing and metrics. Advanced Excel; experience with EPM (Adaptive/Anaplan) and BI (Power BI/Tableau); Salesforce familiarity required; SQL a plus. Clear communicator who distills complex analytics into simple options and actions; comfortable partnering with Sales, CS, Product/Engineering, Accounting, and Corporate Development. Bachelor’s in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related; MBA/CPA/CFA coursework or progress a plus. The pay range for this position is 62K to 97K per year (pay to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data). Other Compensation: If this position is full-time or part-time benefit eligible, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package which can be viewed here: https://businessolver.foleon.com/bsc/job-board-businessolver-virtual-benefits-guide/ Dear Applicant.
