Accountabilities:

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python or Node.js.
• Develop and optimize database schemas and queries to ensure scalability and performance.
• Implement integrations with external systems and third-party services.
• Collaborate closely with frontend, design, and product teams to align backend functionality with product requirements.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements for reliability and security.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented backend code.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and system design processes.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a backend engineer.
• Strong proficiency in Python or JavaScript (Node.js) and related frameworks.
• Experience in product-based organizations and remote working environments.
• Solid understanding of backend architecture, RESTful APIs, and database systems (SQL/NoSQL).
• Knowledge of performance optimization, scalability, debugging, and monitoring practices.
• Ability to work full-time independently and maintain focus in a remote setting.
• Own a personal laptop (MacBook preferred) and a reliable internet connection.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and collaborative mindset.
