This role offers the opportunity to lead platform and developer experience teams focused on enabling engineers to ship high-quality software efficiently and at scale. You will define roadmaps for internal platforms and developer tooling, including build/test systems, CI/CD pipelines, environments, and workflows, while collaborating across engineering, product, and operations teams. The position emphasizes improving developer productivity, measuring efficiency gains, and implementing scalable platform solutions. You will mentor and coach engineers and technical leads, foster an inclusive culture, and ensure operational excellence across critical platform services. 5+ years of experience as a senior engineer building developer productivity tools, platform services, or working with cloud/infrastructure technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform). 3+ years of experience managing software engineers and/or technical leads, including hiring, coaching, and performance management. 2+ years of experience leading developer experience or platform teams, delivering internal platforms and tooling with measurable outcomes. Experience managing scalable database infrastructure (e.g., Postgres, MySQL). Strong organizational and communication skills; able to lead cross-functional roadmaps and interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience defining and tracking developer efficiency metrics and using them to drive improvements. Authorized to work in the United States. Preferred: experience with developer ecosystems in Java, Python, or TypeScript; familiarity with build systems (Gradle, Bazel, Maven); experience with frontend tooling or optimizing backend services; experience building developer dashboards, CLIs, or portals.
