Senior Frontend Engineer

About the Role We’re looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer to build fast, reliable, and intuitive web interfaces that power Partao’s marketplace. You’ll focus on crafting seamless user experiences — from browsing and search to checkout and account views — while ensuring performance and design consistency across the platform. You’ll work closely with product designers and other engineers to turn complex data and workflows into clean, responsive interfaces that scale to millions of products.

Key Responsibilities Develop and optimize modern, high-performance web applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript. Translate UI/UX designs into accessible, responsive, and pixel-perfect components. Implement best practices for performance, accessibility (WCAG), and SEO fundamentals. Contribute to reusable design systems and front-end architecture using TailwindCSS and SCSS. Integrate APIs and ensure smooth data flow to the front-end. Profile and improve performance using tools like Lighthouse, Vite, and Webpack. Write maintainable, well-tested code and participate in code reviews. Collaborate with design and product teams to deliver polished, user-centric features.

Requirements 5 - 6+ years of experience as a Front-End Engineer in a product or startup environment. Strong proficiency in React, Next.js, TypeScript, and front-end architecture patterns. Solid understanding of state management tools (Zustand or Context API preferred; Redux optional). Experience working with RESTful APIs and asynchronous data handling. Good grasp of performance optimization, accessibility, and SEO for web apps. Familiar with modern build tools (Vite, Webpack) and CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions, etc.). Clear communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills in cross-functional teams.

Bonus Points Experience with analytics and monitoring tools (Sentry, Datadog, or Vercel Analytics). Exposure to AWS (S3, CloudFront, Lambda). Experience working in a marketplace, industrial/long-tail B2B environment, or sectors like construction, agriculture, or automotive.
