We’re looking for a Senior Google Ads specialist — a real growth hacker with experience and a proven track record in driving serious DTC scale across Google Ads campaigns, with a focus on Display, Demand Gen and YouTube. You will build and manage highly impactful Google Ads acquisition campaigns and be hungry for testing growth opportunities to maximise conversions, revenue and ROI. If you are a master in bidding strategies, audience discovery and segmentation, testing new setups, and creative testing at scale to drive substantial growth without blowing up CAC, this is for you. What You’ll Do Lead high-volume creative testing at scale turning winning creatives into high-performing assets that unlock further scale through structured, scalable iteration frameworks, working closely with the creative team to influence creative direction and production based on performance trends. Run and scale high-budget Google Ads campaigns (mid–7 figures annually) with a primary focus on visual-first campaign types — Demand Gen, GDA, YouTube, delivering sustainable DTC acquisition at scale in line with LTV/CAC, ROI and revenue targets. Build and test sophisticated campaign structures, bid strategies and audience architectures using segmentation, 1P data, exclusions and expansion strategies. Own and actively monitor all performance KPIs in Google Ads and our BI tools, and turn data into actionable next steps that drive growth. Proactively recommend UX/funnel improvements grounded in data and user behaviour. Monitor industry and competitive trends (new creative directions, formats, funnels, propositions, competitor angles) and proactively translate insights into opportunities for testing and scaling. Stay ahead of industry, platform and auction dynamics and updates, collaborating closely with other members of the PPC team across other apps — knowledge sharing, best-practice exchange and insights. Use (and proactively make suggestions for) internal automation /analytics solutions (autorules, scripts) to reduce manual workload, increase efficiency and speed up iteration.
4+ years of hands-on Google Ads experience with strong results in DTC (subscription apps a big plus), with a track record of managing $1M+ budgets and scaling accounts significantly while keeping CAC and LTV/CAC in line with targets. Deep hands-on knowledge of all Google Ads campaign types, with expertise in Demand Gen, GDA, YouTube; other DSPs like Applovin a strong plus — formats, setups, optimisation and scaling best practices across these campaigns. Proven experience running structured, high-volume creative testing at scale, reading the signals, and turning winners into scalable, repeatable frameworks. Strong grasp of visual creative formats and what makes high-performing creatives that win at scale (hooks, structure, offer framing and thumb-stopping visuals). Expert command of bid strategies and audience strategy: intent layering, first-party data usage, segmentation and expansion, etc. Solid understanding of UX fundamentals and the ability to proactively suggest practical funnel and LP improvements to increase conversion rates. Highly analytical with strong attention to detail; confident working with large data sets and tools such as Excel, BI tools (Tableau), GA4, and data-visualisation platforms. Experience with other media-buying platforms such as DSPs, paid social and native ad platforms or Apple Search Ads would be beneficial, but not a must. Proactively tracks industry and competitor trends (creative ideas, propositions, funnels) and turns them into actionable recommendations. Self-starter with a strong bias for action—autonomous, proactive, curious and experimental, always looking for the next growth angle, format or approach. Proficiency in English - B2 or higher level - as daily communication in this role is conducted in English.
