This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior IT Architectural Engineering Services professional in the United States. This role offers the opportunity to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale IT infrastructure supporting mission-critical healthcare operations. The Senior IT Architect will develop scalable, secure, and interoperable systems across cloud and on-premise environments, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture policies and cybersecurity standards. Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, the role includes technical leadership, requirements validation, and architectural assessments to optimize system performance and readiness. The position emphasizes technical innovation, documentation rigor, and collaboration with DoD and industry partners. It provides a chance to influence modern healthcare IT infrastructure while maintaining compliance with federal standards and frameworks. Accountabilities · Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise IT architecture across hybrid cloud and on-premise environments. · Develop strategies, documentation, and architectural guidance to ensure consistency, interoperability, and scalability of IT systems. · Validate functional and technical requirements through structured worksheets and governance reviews. · Facilitate solution development sessions with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and cybersecurity teams. · Conduct feasibility and architectural assessments to ensure compliance with security, performance, and scalability standards. · Draft and maintain Test and Evaluation Strategies to support operational readiness. · Manage architectural documentation across the systems lifecycle and provide support during acquisition planning. · Deliver DoDAF artifacts and lead re-architecture efforts to address mission needs or system limitations. · Proven experience leading IT architecture and enterprise systems design in complex federal or healthcare environments. · Knowledge of DHA, MHS, or DoD IT environments, policies, and governance processes. · Strong ability to translate mission requirements into scalable, secure, and compliant IT solutions. · U.S. Citizenship with eligibility to obtain and maintain Public Trust (Tier 3/NACLC) clearance. · Foundational: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Data Science, IS, or Computer Science (ABET/CAE accredited) or CISSP certification. · CE-level: Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) or Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect Expert (SC-100). · Familiarity with DoDAF, RMF, ITIL, Agile, and DevSecOps methodologies. · Technical skills with tools such as Microsoft Visio, Enterprise Architect, and hybrid cloud platforms like Azure/MED365. · Strong technical writing, documentation, and systems engineering skills. · Competitive salary and professional development opportunities. · Fully remote work across the U.S. and Puerto Rico. · Flexible work environment tailored for federal IT project delivery. · Opportunity to influence modern military healthcare IT systems and mission-critical infrastructure. · Exposure to DoD, MHS, and federal enterprise IT standards. · Collaboration with diverse technical and functional teams on high-impact projects.
