Senior Product Designer

Jaras is seeking a Senior Product Designer who is passionate about creating impactful digital experiences. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our design initiatives, responsible for shaping the user experience across our product offerings. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, and marketing to understand user needs and translate them into compelling design solutions. As a Senior Product Designer, you will utilize your expertise in user-centered design principles, focusing on usability and visual aesthetics to deliver high-quality products. You will lead design projects from concept to completion, ensuring that each design iteration aligns with our business goals and enhances user satisfaction. Your role will involve conducting user research, performing usability testing, and iterating on designs based on user feedback. Additionally, you will mentor junior designers, fostering a culture of creativity and innovation within the team. Your contributions will be pivotal in elevating Jaras's product design and ensuring that we continue to provide our users with exceptional experiences.

Responsibilities Lead the design process from concept to execution for various products. Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions. Create user personas, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that resonate with users. Collaborate with product managers and engineers to ensure designs are feasible and implementable. Iterate on designs based on user feedback and analytics to enhance user experience. Mentor and guide junior designers in best practices and design methodologies. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to inform design strategies. 5+ years of experience in product design, preferably in a tech environment. Deep knowledge of user-centered design principles and methodologies. Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar. Strong portfolio showcasing previous work and demonstrating design thinking and outcomes. Experience conducting user research and usability testing. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
