In this role, you'll be at the heart of our mission, working hand-in-hand with our team to validate cutting-edge ICEYE and third-party applications and systems with customer satellites. The Senior QA Engineer ensures the delivery of high-quality software to mission customers and the adherence of releases to production standards, directly contributing to the reliability and success of ICEYE's SAR Satellite Missions. This role is critical for maintaining customer trust and operational excellence. Expected outcomes & requirements Define and formulate Test Strategy: Establish quality assurance strategies, drive the development of detailed, risk-based test plans, and oversee the execution of end-to-end test scenarios to ensure superior quality and release readiness. Test Execution and Defect Management: Performing comprehensive test execution as per test plan, log and track defects, and coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure timely defect resolution and successful test completion. Detailed Test Reporting and Documentation: The Senior QA Engineer must generate and deliver clear, comprehensive, and accurate detailed test reports and formal quality documentation for both internal consumption and external client review. Own End-to-End Mission Quality: Assume ownership for the verification of SAR Satellite Mission in your responsibility, ensuring that the entire flow, from tasking to image processing, consistently adheres to the highest quality and performance standards. Drive Quality Assurance Maturity: Proactively identify and drive improvements in QA processes and methodologies, including leading initiatives for test automation, system performance analysis, and continuous quality integration. On-Prem Deployment Validation: Collaborate with external customers, partners and internal testing teams to design and implement robust test and validation strategies. Role-specific competences Solid understanding of QA principles and practices [6-8 years experience]. Experience in developing, executing and reporting project-specific Test Strategies and Test Plans Experience in automation of RESTful APIs and UI using Selenium, Playwright etc Good understanding of RESTful APIs and UI testing. Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS environments. Experience with Linux/Unix OS platforms. Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins etc. Ability to communicate effectively with the Program Managers, Engineering teams and Business stakeholders. Experience with working in Jira or any other test management tool. Key Competences
