Octopus and Robusta are building a bridge between Europe and Africa, creating tailored hub solutions to connect companies with top talent across the globe Job Overview A Salesforce Core Developer specialized in Field Service Lightning (FSL) and Service Cloud is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing scalable Salesforce solutions that enhance service operations and field workflows. The role involves customizing Service Cloud and FSL modules, building robust Apex- and Lightning-based features, and integrating Salesforce with external systems to ensure seamless end-to-end service delivery. Job Responsibilities Design, customize, and enhance Service Cloud and FSL components, including Work Orders, Service Appointments, Scheduling Policies, and Mobile flows. Develop scalable Apex classes, triggers, LWC, and API integrations to support complex service processes. Implement automation using Flows, Process Builder, and best-practice declarative tools to optimize case and field service operations. Collaborate with BA, Admin, and Tech teams to translate business needs into technical requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. Configure and optimize FSL dispatcher console, mobile app functionality, and scheduling rules for efficient workforce management. Ensure code quality, perform unit testing, and support deployment through CI/CD pipelines. Troubleshoot production issues, maintain documentation, and ensure solutions align with Salesforce best practices and governance limits. At least 5 years of experience with emphasis on Salesforce development and testing. Experience working on multiple Cloud with focus on Service Cloud and FSL Experience in other Salesforce clouds like Marketing, Sales Commerce, CPQ, Education and Analytics is an added advantage Required Certifications Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I Certified Salesforce Platform Developer 2 Certified Salesforce Administrator Salesforce Advance Administrator Certified JavaScript Developer Consultant Certifications: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Experience Cloud Other Skills Proactiveness Ownership and accountability of the project tasks Open communication and transparency about day to day work, issues , risks and progress Experience in Agile project methodology Collaboration and be team playing Estimation of timelines and solution approaches
