THE ROLE The Sr. Service Account Manager is the dedicated, strategic advocate for our largest and most critical customers, ensuring they maximize the value and success of their Pure investment. You will own the end-to-end service delivery relationship, acting as the trusted advisor who personalizes and orchestrates the entire customer journey. This role bridges customer priorities with internal teams—including Sales, Support, and Executive Leadership—to proactively drive system health, resolve complex issues, and accelerate business outcomes. WHAT YOU'LL DO Lead the overall service delivery relationship for major accounts, acting as the primary point of accountability for inventory management, support engagements, and successful product adoption. Serve as the customer's executive-level advocate, efficiently communicating service updates, managing critical support escalations, and directing communication between customers and internal teams (Engineering, Product, Sales, and Leadership). Conduct regular operational and strategic business reviews, leveraging deep analysis of the customer's IT environment, roadmap, and initiatives to proactively mitigate risks and accelerate their key business priorities. Craft and deliver strategic customer experience plans that drive higher customer satisfaction, strengthen brand loyalty, and increase the overall contract value of the Pure partnership. Collaborate cross-functionally to identify new opportunities and business solutions, ensuring seamless coordination of Pure implementations and contributing to sales and service growth planning. WHAT YOU BRING Exceptional expertise in complex service delivery, customer success, or professional services, particularly within enterprise or strategic accounts. Proven ability to establish and maintain trusted advisor relationships with technical and executive stakeholders, driving alignment and consensus in high-stakes situations. Mastery of executive-level verbal and written communication, including the ability to articulate technical issues, present root cause analyses, and clearly quantify business impact to diverse audiences. Demonstrated proficiency in managing multiple simultaneous projects and critical issues with superb organization, project management discipline, and effective time management. In-depth knowledge of the storage, cloud, or adjacent IT infrastructure industry, allowing for effective consultation on deployments, capacity planning, and IT road mapping. #LI-REMOTE Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
