Senior Software Engineer - Gigster

We’re looking for a self-starting Senior Software Engineer who thrives in high-visibility, fast-moving environments and can navigate both frontend and backend responsibilities. This role emphasizes strong ownership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with legacy code while driving modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate is hands-on, comfortable with React/TypeScript on the front-end, and Kotlin/AWS on the backend. They will work collaboratively across teams to deliver robust, scalable features and improvements, often balancing maintenance of legacy systems with new development. Non-Negotiables Proven experience with React + TypeScript front-end development

Hands-on experience with Kotlin backend services

Comfortable working with AWS services for cloud deployments

Experience navigating and improving legacy codebases

Strong ownership and proactive approach to problem-solving

Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Nice-to-Have Experience in full-stack responsibilities (front-end + back-end)

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native best practices

Familiarity with scalable system design and performance optimization
