As the Short-Form Editor, you will help with the ideation, production, and execution of engaging content across TikTok, Youtube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and other short-form channels. You will be responsible for storytelling, post-production, and ensuring content aligns with brand expectations and resonates with our audience. This role involves ideation, execution, and continuous adaptation to audience consumption trends. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who lives on the internet and follows and understands internet trends. ● +1 years of experience in video production/editing, preferably in esports, gaming, or digital media. ● Expert in video editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop). ● Ability to juggle multiple priorities while delivering polished work under tight deadlines. ● Knows how to produce content for a multi-platform distribution strategy. ● Self-Starter who can take an idea and run with it. ● Willingness to be an individual contributor while working within a team environment and contribute to the overall brand’s growth and success. ● A strong portfolio showcasing previous work. ● Solid understanding of brand identity and the ability to maintain a consistent visual style. ● Excellent project management and organizational skills. ● Deep knowledge of social media trends and platform best practices. ● Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. ● Solid understanding of games including but not limited to: VALORANT, Apex Legends, Marvel Rivals, and/or Call of Duty.
● Oversee projects through pre-production, production, post-production, and finally to publishing short form content on Tik-Tok, Instagram Reels, and/or YouTube Shorts. ● Create and ideate on new hooks, formats and styles. ● Re-cut content pieces from long form into short-form. ● Develop and pitch ideas for social moments. ● Maintain brand voice and visual style across all assets. ● Stay current on social trends and platform best practices. ● Continuously evolve production approaches to match shifts in audience behavior and content consumption patterns. ● Work closely with creative leads, social strategists, brand, and partnerships to ensure content supports broader campaigns and launches.
