    This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Sr. Manager, Product Security in the United States. In this role, you will lead a team responsible for embedding security into products from concept to deployment, ensuring solutions are secure by design and compliant with industry standards. You will partner with product owners, engineering leads, and cross-functional teams to influence security strategy, drive risk assessments, and implement best-in-class security practices. The position combines technical expertise with leadership, providing guidance on vulnerability management, secure coding, incident response, and compliance initiatives. This is a high-impact role where your work will directly protect customers, safeguard organizational assets, and shape the security posture of innovative digital products. You will stay at the forefront of emerging threats and technologies, promoting a culture of security awareness and continuous improvement.

    Accountabilities:

    · Lead the product security function, embedding security principles and practices into the development lifecycle. · Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and vulnerability evaluations to identify and mitigate potential risks. · Oversee secure coding practices, security testing, and penetration testing initiatives. · Ensure products comply with relevant security standards, regulations, and audit requirements. · Develop and maintain product-specific incident response plans and support the Security Operations Center. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence security strategy and guide secure product design. · Drive continuous improvement by staying informed about emerging security threats, technologies, and best practices. · 10–15 years of experience in cybersecurity or related fields, with at least 5 years in product security roles. · Proven leadership experience managing cybersecurity teams or projects for 3–5 years. · Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field. · Relevant certifications preferred, such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH. · Deep expertise in cybersecurity principles, secure coding, vulnerability management, and risk assessment. · Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), serverless computing, API security, OS hardening, and SDLC security integration. · Strong analytical skills and ability to mitigate security risks effectively. · Excellent collaboration and communication skills, capable of influencing technical and non-technical stakeholders. · Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging security threats and technologies. · Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses. · Comprehensive healthcare and retirement plans. · Flexible work arrangements including remote options. · Leadership role with high visibility and strategic impact. · Opportunity to shape the security culture and practices of a rapidly growing organization. · Collaborative, innovative, and inclusive team environment that encourages professional growth.
