Staff Software Engineer

We simplify the process for patients to obtain insurance-reimbursed therapy by pairing them with their preferred therapist. We are currently looking for an experienced and talented Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our team and help us make a difference. ​

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the founders to develop, implement, and maintain a high-quality web application.
• Utilize React JS, HTML, and CSS for front-end development, ensuring a seamless and responsive user experience.
• Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node JS and Python for back-end development.
• Integrate APIs to streamline processes and enhance the functionality of our platform.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that follows best practices and industry standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize our web applications to enhance performance and maintain scalability.
• Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to continuously improve the quality of our codebase.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure successful project completion and a positive work environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

6+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development, with a focus on web development.

• Deep understanding of scalable system architecture and building performant applications
• Strong proficiency in React JS, HTML, and CSS for front-end development.
• Extensive experience with Node JS and Python for back-end development.
• API integration experience strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud and Firebase is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with building secure backend systems and dev ops is strongly preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
