Supervisory Board Member – Business & Strategy Responsible (Estonia, Crypto/Fintech)

About the Client Our client is a large international company building secure, compliant crypto payment infrastructure for businesses worldwide. With licensed operations across multiple EU jurisdictions, the company supports merchants with crypto acquiring, B2B wallets, and API-driven platforms.

Role Overview We are looking for a non-executive director with a background in business management and strategic leadership to join the Supervisory Board of the company’s Estonian entity. This role requires an experienced professional who can bring insight and oversight to company-wide growth initiatives, organizational structure, and high-level strategic decisions. This role is focused on governance, long-term vision, and alignment of executive activities with the company’s business goals. The ideal candidate will have board-level or senior experience in fintech, payments, or high-growth tech companies, and must be based in Estonia or have a strong local affiliation.

Key Responsibilities Provide strategic input on business planning, growth initiatives, and corporate structure Approve company strategy, budget, and forecasts based on proposals from the Management Board Support evaluation and appointment of Management Board members with a focus on business leadership Oversee the company’s organizational development and alignment with long-term goals Approve structural changes, policy updates, and corporate governance frameworks Participate in key decisions around new markets, subsidiaries, or business models Evaluate proposals for large-scale investments, partnerships, or service changes Ensure strategic alignment of Supervisory Board activities with regulatory and ethical standards Offer objective insight and feedback in board discussions and executive reviews Requirements Must be based in Estonia or have strong professional ties to Estonia Higher education in business administration, governance or a related field Experience in executive or board-level roles, ideally in fintech, payments, or technology sectors Proven track record in business strategy, company growth, or organizational leadership Clean criminal record and transparent business reputation Strong understanding of corporate governance and supervisory responsibilities Key Soft Skills Strategic, high-level thinking and decision-making Collaborative and constructive communication style Integrity, independence, and professional maturity Ability to challenge assumptions and guide long-term planning
