We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supplier and Co-Manufacturing Quality Manager to join our dynamic team. As Supplier and Co-Manufacturing Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and compliance across all ingredient supplier and co-manufacturing partnerships. You will play a crucial role in maintaining product and facility certifications, product quality standards and implementing quality control measures to drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities Ensure all co-manufacturer product and facility certifications are compliant, including SQF, BRC, Kosher, GF, Non- GMO, and Vegan On board new private label customers with co-manufacturers. Develop and implement a food safety and quality program for all ingredient suppliers. Develop and implement food safety and quality control strategies and programs for all co-manufacturing partners to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to establish and maintain strong relationships with co-manufacturing partners and ingredient suppliers conducting regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement. Provide guidance and support in the development and execution of quality improvement initiatives, including process optimization, data analysis, and corrective action plans. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement. Drive continuous improvement efforts by implementing best practices and fostering a culture of quality excellence across co-manufacturing partnerships. Lead investigations into quality issues, determining root causes and implementing effective solutions to prevent recurrence. Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as quality management or food science Minimum of 5-years of experience in quality management within the co-manufacturing or food manufacturing industry In-depth knowledge of quality control principles, tools, and techniques Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and develop effective solutions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence internal and external stakeholders Proven experience in leading and managing cross-functional teams Knowledge of industry regulations and standards, such as FDA and GFSI Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results Experience with Tracegains Ability to travel ~60% Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) 401k Plan with Company Match Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays) Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D) Parental Leave Short Term & Long Term Disability No recruiters, please
