About This Opportunity
As a Java Developer with our team you will implement business requirements and design specifications into working product. This position also includes adding features and functionality, support of LaunchIT application. Good English communication and writing skills are required.
Responsibilities
Participate in development efforts on a cross-functional product team in an agile environment. Successfully communicate designs, research, and potential issues with team members. Development, testing and support of all the associated applications. Analyze requirements/user stories to appropriately support design activities. Perform all technical aspects of software development for assigned applications including developing prototypes and writing new code/API's. Perform unit and assembly testing of software components including the design, implementation, evaluation, and execution of unit and assembly test scripts. Debug software components, identify, fix and verify remediation of code defects (own work and the work of others). Support and maintain projects developed by the team; and assist in production outages. Design, develop, configure, deploy, debug, monitor and document new features and enhancements on the systems. Collaborate with business professionals to determine functional and non-functional requirements for software development projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required. 3+ Years of Java/J2EE development experience 3+ years of Oracle stored procedures / SQL/ PL/SQL 2+ years of CI/CD tools 1+ years of Test-driven development Good understanding of Object Oriented Programming and Design principles including abstraction, inheritance, polymorphism and encapsulation Experience with the full lifecycle of software development including use of version control tools, build management, unit testing, issue tracking software (e.g. SVN, Git, Maven, bamboo, Jenkins, Sonar, JIRA) Excellent organizational skills, self-administration, attention to detail, multi-tasking, and effective prioritization Required experience with the following technologies Spring/Spring-MVC / Spring Batch / Spring Boot is a must Experience with Etcd, Eureka, Kubernetes, Kafka, Redis Cache, Hazelcast a plus.
