We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of secure and scalable backend systems for our cloud-native SaaS platform. Our solutions support clients in the security sector, including high-security locking systems, pneumatic tube transport, and secure fleet management. As a Tech Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of backend engineers, shaping the system architecture, and delivering features in line with the specifications and functional direction provided by the Product Owner. What You Will Do 🧠 Technical Leadership & Architecture Define and evolve robust backend architecture using C#/.NET and Microsoft Azure, tailored for high-security, cloud-native applications. Provide hands-on technical leadership, setting standards for code quality, performance, and security across the development team. Champion modern software delivery practices including CI/CD, structured release cycles, and DevOps automation. Implement architectural best practices to ensure low maintenance overhead, high performance, and scalability. Conduct architecture and code reviews, mentoring engineers on design principles, cloud security, and system resilience. Supported by DevOps and security experts. Collaborate with product managers, product owner and external specialists to align technology with business and security goals. 🖥️ Backend Development Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native backend services using C#/.NET. Build and optimize serverless applications using Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and other Azure-native components. Architect scalable and secure data models using Cosmos DB and other Azure storage solutions. Develop and maintain internal NuGet packages to support modular and reusable development practices. Ensure application security and compliance with industry standards (e.g., OWASP, SOC 2, STAR, Privacy by Design). ☁️ Cloud & DevOps Lead deployment strategies and infrastructure automation using Azure DevOps Pipelines. Monitor and optimize cloud performance, cost efficiency, and security posture. Maintain system observability, logging, and performance monitoring across distributed services. 🧩 Collaboration & Innovation Work closely with cross-functional teams including QA, product management, and external partners. Evaluate and introduce new tools, frameworks, and cloud patterns to improve developer productivity and system reliability. Foster a culture of technical ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement. Promote agile methodologies and modern engineering practices across the team. Technical skills Minimum 5 years of experience in backend development and cloud architecture. Proven expertise in .NET, backend design patterns, and scalable system architecture. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including serverless computing and cloud-native design. Experience with Cosmos DB, REST APIs, and WebSocket communication. Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, release management, and Git-based workflows Soft skills Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving. Strong communication and technical leadership skills. Proactive, self-driven, and capable of guiding cross-functional teams. Committed to continuous learning, process improvement, and technical excellence. Analytical mindset with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Fluent in English (B2+ level). Nice to Have Experience with Rust programming language. Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and frontend development using React or Next.js. Experience with microservices and event-driven architecture. Familiarity with multi-cloud environments or hybrid cloud strategies. Background in performance optimization, system observability, or security auditing. Experience in the security sector, especially with access control, secure communications, or compliance-heavy environments.
