Outcomes:

Support to the business:

Partner closely with Finance Business Partners and others to deliver timely, accurate technical accounting analysis for Solutions and Data lines of business, enabling effective support for Sales teams. Prepare clear, well-supported technical accounting memos for Solutions and Data lines of business, enhancing ICEYE’s overall accounting rigor. Support junior GL and Reporting team members on technical accounting questions, performing contract reviews (mainly solutions and data lines of business), and giving guidance on the application of accounting standards.

Provide additional bandwidth as required on:

complex technical accounting matters where necessary; monitoring new IFRS pronouncements and assess, interpret, and implement relevant changes; contributing to ad hoc projects, for example ensuring the accounting policies remain current and compliant. Role-specific Competences

• You have a professional accounting qualification, e.g. ACA or similar.
• To be successful in this role you might have been working with a Big 4 accounting firm in auditing, financial reporting or similar roles.
• You have the proven ability to identify when to escalate matters using a risk based approach.
• You have demonstrated an in-depth understanding and application of IFRS.
• You have strong written communication skills in English and experience in drafting technical accounting memos.
• You’re able to present your ideas and findings in a professional, collaborative manner for both senior management and for junior employees.

The following experience/skills would be beneficial:

Experience of reviewing contracts with customers;
