Test Engineer, EU based (Remote)

We are looking for a Test Engineer to join our dynamic global team for delivering high-impact validation and testing projects. The ideal candidate has strong experience in manual and automated testing, demonstrates solid SQL and Linux troubleshooting skills, and thrives in a collaborative, cross-functional environment supporting global deployments and mission-critical business processes. Responsibilities:

• Design, execute, and maintain test cases for manual and automated testing across SIT, UAT, and PST phases.
• Validate deployments and perform post-deployment testing in Unix/Linux environments.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met throughout the SDLC.
• Analyze and troubleshoot issues using SQL and Linux terminal tools.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in manual and automated testing, including SIT, UAT, and PST phases.
• Strong SQL proficiency — ability to write and optimize queries in Oracle 19, understanding of DB objects and usage.
• Confident with Linux terminal tools (Bash, Putty console) and basic scripting for troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux-based deployments and post-deployment testing.

Nice to have:

• Experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium).
• Familiarity with CI/CD and Jenkins pipelines.
• API testing experience (SoapUI, Postman).
• Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
• Ability to write and maintain Bash scripts for automation or validation tasks.
