    Job Description

    The VP, Client Experience Lead role at BarkleyOKRP and MissionOne Media is about more than just account management. As a connector between clients, partners and the agency, the VP, Client Experience Lead manages assigned client relationships. The role requires someone with a performance media background and understands how to run a cross-functional media delivery team. A relationship builder that understands how to identify and solve client business challenges through full-stack agency capabilities. Leading by example, they embody the mold for what successful account management and media delivery looks like. Reports to: SVP, Performance Media Client Lead Direct Reports: None at this time. Dotted line to team members staffed to the assigned account(s). Potential to oversee CX Director or other roles in the future. Responsibilities ● Support cross-functional collaboration, ensuring alignment and knowledge-sharing across all relevant teams. ● Manages P&L of client business; negotiates contracts and billing with clients; makes key staffing recommendations to optimize performance of the business with guidance and oversight from SVP. ● Advocates for best-in-class media products, selling cross-channel strategic outputs that effectively build brands. ● Uses astute business acumen to partner with senior-level clients to understand marketing needs and objectives, building a deep rapport within the clients’ marketing organization along the way. ● Identifies business growth opportunities, mobilizing internal resources to pursue organic growth opportunities that drive revenue for the agency while at the same time expanding the clients’ positioning in their respective category. ● Partners with internal leaders across planning, activation, strategy, and operations disciplines. ● Supervises client delivery on assigned account(s), providing feedback, guidance and development opportunities to integrated team. Leads by example. ● Stays abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and evolving client needs to inform and adapt client strategies. ● Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal teams (Media, Analytics, CRM, Strategy, Creative, etc.) to ensure seamless execution of client initiatives. ● Monitor and report on client development milestones, ensuring timely progress and accountability. ● Demonstrated experience leading, developing and inspiring high-performing cross-functional teams in fast-paced, high-pressure environments while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Qualifications ● Bachelor’s degree required ● Minimum 10 years’ experience in advertising/media agencies working on digital Performance Media clients. ● Strong knowledge of Google ad ecosystem, Bing, Meta ● Openness and ability to wear many hats and get hands dirty when necessary. ● Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) ● Strong written and verbal communication required with stakeholders; ability to present well and read a room ● Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, problem-solving and resourcefulness ● Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences. ● Strong strategic thinking, with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and the ability to simplify complex concepts.
