WordPress Developer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented WordPress Developer to join our team and play a key role in maintaining, optimizing, and expanding our online presence. This position requires someone with strong technical expertise, creativity, and a problem-solving mindset who can take ownership of projects from concept to launch. You will be responsible for developing custom WordPress themes and plugins, improving site performance, ensuring responsive design, and maintaining high standards of security and functionality. This is a hands-on role suited for someone who enjoys both the creative and technical sides of web development someone who can build efficient, user-friendly websites while ensuring reliability, speed, and scalability. Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in WordPress development or a similar web development role. Proven experience with custom theme and plugin development (not just page builders). Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL. Familiarity with WordPress APIs, hooks, filters, and REST API integrations. Experience working with page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, or Divi. Understanding of SEO best practices, website optimization, and security standards. Experience integrating third-party tools, CRMs, or APIs. Solid understanding of cross-browser compatibility and responsive design principles. Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail, communication, and documentation skills. Proactive attitude with the ability to troubleshoot, identify issues early, and implement effective solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites using custom themes, plugins, and integrations. Ensure website performance, security, and responsiveness across all devices and browsers. Collaborate with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to translate business needs into functional web solutions. Troubleshoot technical issues, perform site audits, and implement fixes or improvements proactively. Optimize websites for SEO, page speed, and user experience. Manage and maintain website backups, updates, and version control processes. Create documentation for site architecture, workflows, and technical procedures. Stay up to date with WordPress updates, emerging technologies, and web development best practices. Take initiative and suggest new features, plugins, or improvements to enhance website performance and user engagement.
