About the role...

Our Audit team in London are growing, and we’re currently seeking an Audit Insights Analyst to join them on their journey. We are looking for someone who can provide analytical and commercial support to the Audit Leadership team with a range of financial and operational KPIs.

You will help to drive continuous improvement on financial and operational matters for a company experiencing rapid growth, both organically and through acquisitions.

The day to day…

You can expect to report on progress against financial budgets and forecasts, identifying and modelling data trends, making commercially focused recommendations to help improve profitability and efficiency within the Audit team.

There will be opportunity to collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders, including Finance, Resourcing and Admin Support departments, assisting with resource optimization, identifying inefficient/unprofitable assignments and improve working capital management. You will drive a value-adding service to Senior Leadership and build their trust with well-researched and tailored insights.

There will be plenty of tasks you can get stuck into, including (but not limited to);

  • Preparing weekly reporting packs to Audit Leadership, tracking results against budgets and forecasts
  • Preparing monthly scorecards on client portfolios and employee wellbeing / performance data
  • Assisting with quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting
  • Ensuring accuracy of standing data for the Audit team, including the employees index and fees database
  • Monitoring weekly data exceptions and tracking actions to ensure these are completed in a timely manner
  • Assisting with month end financial reporting and variance analysis, presenting key results to Audit Leadership
  • Ad-hoc analysis and data management

Reporting to the Senior Insights Manager, you will initially support the South region and travel to different offices will be required occasionally.

The role will also be designed to help you grow and develop through your career journey. With access to a wide range of knowledge to help push yourself further – maybe to manager or even partner? You are in the driving seat and the team are happy to support.

About you...

At Cooper Parry, we’re in it together. All we ask of our people is that they play all in. You’ll continuously strive to keep learning – whether you’re a trainee or a Partner – and you’ll be brave, stepping out of your comfort zone to tackle new challenges. Above all, be nice. A simple notion, but an irreplaceable part of what makes CP, CP.

In addition to those core values, as an Audit Insight Analyst you should have;

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Exposure to financial reporting tools and PSA systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, Power BI etc.
  • Pro-active and independent project management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders on financial and operational matters
  • Experience in a financial services environment (such as Audit) would be beneficial
