As an EyePoint Intern, you will: 

   •   Dive into real projects that directly impact our business goals. 

   •   Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve exciting challenges. 

   •   Attend community service events, and mentorship sessions. 

   •   Present your contributions to leadership at the end of your internship. 

Responsibilities

The Summer Intern will report directly to the VP, Biometrics, and will be responsible for assisting with various statistical and programming related tasks such as reviewing statistical plans and shells, documents, programming quality checks, simulations, and attend meetings when applicable.

 

  • Support lead statisticians in developing statistical analysis plans and mock-up shells for ongoing clinical trials
  • Perform post-hoc statistical analyses using archived trial data
  • Intern will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with Clinical Data Interchange Standard Consortium data sets (SDTM and ADaM)
  • A proactive attitude towards learning and applying statistical knowledge in real-world scenarios is essential
  • Perform clinical programming activities such as edit check rules
  • Apply statistical knowledge and programming skills to study design and data analysis in different phases of clinical trials

 

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • They should possess strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of statistical methodologies
  • Have good working knowledge of SAS and R
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite

 

Level of Education Required:

  • Must be enrolled in a Master’s or PhD level program at an accredited college/university in the field of statistics/biostatistics
  • Master’s level student’s must have at least 1 year in the program by time of starting internship
