Applications Developer multiple levels, VA Programs

Peraton’s Defense Mission and Health Solutions (DM&HS) Sector is seeking Applications Developers (different levels) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. 

 

The individual will work on a program that supports the VA OIT Product Engineering Services (PES) and Digital Transformation Center (DTC) modernization initiatives. These initiatives prioritize the adoption of modern technologies and services such as cloud solutions, low-code no-code (LCNC) platforms, and microservices; the implementation of contemporary methodologies like Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and DevSecOps to streamline solution delivery; embracing human-centered design (HCD) principles to craft optimal and engaging Veteran experiences; and utilizing data to continuously enhance Veteran services. 

 

What you’ll do:

• Design, develop, and deploy applications using low/no-code platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions that align with business objectives.
• Support the full software development life cycle of low code, no code solutions.
• Have excellent communication skills, be able to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet aggressive deadlines and have the ability to work both independently and on a team producing quality work products with attention to detail.
• Codes, tests, debugs, implements, enhances, and documents web solutions programs
• Provides analyses and prepares level-of-effort estimates.
• Assists in developing and validating system requirements.
• Remains abreast of industry technical trends and new development to maintain current skills and remain current with industry

 

• Ability to obtain a public trust.
• Education requirements and years of experience is based on leveling.
• Knowledge and experience in web design, web architecture, web development, interface design, or software design.
• Proficiency in one or more low/no-code platforms

$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
