The Project Manager – Health IT / AI (PM-IT/AI) serves a key support role in the project development and delivery of health and medical related opportunities for Cayuse Health. The PM-IT/AI supports the Program Manager – Health with the delivery of service on health and medical IT contracts, identifying deliverables, assessing technical needs and requirements, and contributes to the management of IT/AI personnel. The PM-IT/AI identifies credential and technical skill requirements for personnel as outlined in the respective contracts, conducts quality control reviews and assessments, and reports discrepancies. 

 

The PM-IT/AI is responsible for ensuring aspects of project management within their scope of expertise are performed within budget and meet time requirements as outlined by individual contracts. The Project Manager – Health IT / AI position performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Cayuse.

Responsibilities

  • Project planning and management; contributes to the assessment of opportunities, identifies IT requirements, outlines the delivery of services, and develops strategies to mitigate potential risk.
  • Design, develop, and deploy SharePoint applications.
  • Identify AI application opportunities in health and medical IT contracts.
  • Monitors and reports findings of contract employee performance and morale/welfare needs to facilitate exceptional delivery of uninterrupted contract services.
  • Monitors, reports, and escalates necessary action on task order financial matters, not limited to funding obligations, expenditures, and invoicing with stakeholders (internal/external).
  • Assesses deliverability of opportunities, considering risk, staffing demands, and implication to overall Cayuse Health company goals and strategy.
  • Monitors and reports on operational, administrative, and financial trending data to respective operational/business managers to ensure uninterrupted client services.
  • Prepared to present and discuss the status of contract activities, technical requirements, and issues upon request.
  • Contributes to overall company growth and development.
  • Other federal program support activities as required.
  • Other Duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Life Sciences or IT related field of study
  • Experience working with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) platform.
  • Experience planning, managing / assisting, and executing medical or health related staffing.
  • Experience planning, managing / assisting, and executing the management of clinical environments.
  • Experience and familiarity with health and medical standards of care including JCHAO, HIPAA, and PII document management.
  • Experience with content development and design of instructional materials or tools, in hard copy / soft copy formats.
  • Experience utilizing AI in a workplace environment.
  • Experience with software development and design in a health or medical environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new software and programming languages.
  • Experience managing stakeholder expectations both internal and external.
  • Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/ or clients at any time during employment.
  • Knowledge with healthcare entities and how to manage and excel in that environment.

 

Minimum Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate in a professional, and articulate manner to individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high-level attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast past environment with changing priorities; adaptable to change and a quick learner.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work well independently as well as on a multi-functional team.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • Strong IT literacy with proficiency and working knowledge of common database and reporting tools.
  • Direct experience with AI development, applicability, and implementation, preferred.
  • Experience with Python, JavaScript, and HTML5.
  • Intermediate experience in MS Office Suite.
  • Intermediate experience with Adobe Acrobat products.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a clinical environment.
  • Full Stack Development.
  • Technical certifications and training; HIPAA compliance preferred.
  • Experience working with multiple federal agencies.

Working Conditions

  • Professional remote office environment.
  • Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed to meet the demands of this position.
  • Must be able to establish a productive and professional workspace.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time looking at computer screen.
  • Must be able to work varying work schedules and/or extended hours to meet business needs and project deadlines.
  • May be asked to travel for business or professional development purposes.

Pay Range

USD $75,000.00 - USD $85,000.00 /Yr.
